About the Founder

I’m Blake Woodward — dad of three and founder of Suit Tie Stroller.

With a background in Big Four consulting and a gender equality not-for-profit advising Australia’s top CEOs, I’ve worked on policies that help families thrive. But when I became a dad, I realised how little support existed for working fathers.

Suit Tie Stroller was born to change that — not to tell dads what to do, but to equip them with research, real-life insights, and the tools to break stereotypes, overcome invisible pressures, and become the dad they want to be.

About Suit Tie Stroller

Suit Tie Stroller is a social initiative created to help dads become active and involved fathers. While there are many resources for new mothers and new parents more generically, there are few, quality initiatives that exist purely to help dads to be active and involved carers in a manner that suits their unique family.

Underpinning the Suit Tie Stroller initiative is the belief that dads are important to families, workplaces and society. Fathers are not purely breadwinners. Fathers are not incompetent at caring. Fathers are not biologically inferior to mothers at caring. Suit Tie Stroller exists to challenge these social norms and assist men in overcoming harmful expectations and reimagine the best way to be involved in their children’s and families lives.

Suit Tie Stroller exists to help men. And children. And women. And society. It is not about taking away the rights from one to give to the other - it is about promoting healthy fatherhood that benefits everyone.
